Coventry Cathedral

Coventry Cathedral / Basil Spence, 1956 – 62

Whilst in Coventry today I got to visit the new cathedral, which was built in the late 50s after most of the city was obliterated by German bombers in 1940. It’s a stunning building, a structure that showcases Modern engineering and materials in a beautiful, restrained manner. Well worth a visit.
